Over de rol 

Als Senior Test Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het leiden en vormgeven van de test- en kwaliteitsstrategie bij onze klanten. Je combineert management, consultancy en hands-on automation expertise en zorgt dat applicaties schaalbaar, stabiel en van hoge kwaliteit worden geleverd. 

Je coacht teams, adviseert stakeholders en bouwt geavanceerde testautomatisatie-frameworks uit, met oog voor efficiëntie en best practices. Deze rol is perfect voor iemand die zowel strategisch als technisch wil opereren. 

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden 

• Leidinggeven aan testteams en zorgen voor optimale resourceplanning 

• Ontwikkelen en implementeren van teststrategieën en QA-governance bij klanten 

• Adviseren van klanten over testautomatisatie, testprocessen en kwaliteitseisen 

• Bewaken van end-to-end kwaliteit over alle lagen van de stack (frontend, backend, API’s) 

• Hands-on bijdragen aan testautomatisatie en CI/CD integratie 

• Identificeren van risico’s en bottlenecks en proactief oplossingen voorstellen 

• Coachen van medior en junior testers in technische en procesmatige skills 

• Rapporteren van testresultaten en voortgang naar management en stakeholders 

• Bijdragen aan de verdere professionalisering van test- en QA-praktijken binnen het consultancybedrijf 

Jouw profiel 

• 7+ jaar ervaring in software testing, waarvan minstens 3 jaar in een leidinggevende rol 

• Sterke ervaring in testautomatisatie en CI/CD integratie 

• Grondige kennis van QA-best practices, testmethodologieën en testtools 

• Hands-on ervaring met automation frameworks zoals Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, … 

• Technische achtergrond in web-, backend- en API-testing 

• Ervaring in consultancy- of klantgerichte projectomgevingen 

• Uitstekende communicatieve en analytische vaardigheden 

• Vloeiend in Nederlands en professioneel Engels 

Nice to have 

• Ervaring met performance-, security- of accessibility testing 

• Kennis van cloud, containerisatie en DevOps-principes (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure) 

• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager of vergelijkbare certificatie 

• Ervaring met pre-sales, workshops of interne test communities

About the role

As Senior Test Manager, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the testing and quality strategy for our clients. You will combine management, consultancy, and hands-on automation expertise to ensure that applications are delivered in a scalable, stable, and high-quality manner.

You will coach teams, advise stakeholders, and develop advanced test automation frameworks with an eye for efficiency and best practices. This role is perfect for someone who wants to operate both strategically and technically.

Your responsibilities

• Leading test teams and ensuring optimal resource planning

• Developing and implementing test strategies and QA governance for clients

• Advising clients on test automation, test processes, and quality requirements

• Monitoring end-to-end quality across all layers of the stack (frontend, backend, APIs)

• Contributing hands-on to test automation and CI/CD integration

• Identifying risks and bottlenecks and proactively proposing solutions

• Coaching mid-level and junior testers in technical and process-related skills

• Reporting test results and progress to management and stakeholders

• Contribute to the further professionalization of testing and QA practices within the consulting firm

Your profile

• 7+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a managerial role

• Strong experience in test automation and CI/CD integration

• Thorough knowledge of QA best practices, test methodologies, and test tools

• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, etc.

• Technical background in web, backend, and API testing

• Experience in consulting or customer-focused project environments

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Fluent in Dutch and professional English

Nice to have

• Experience with performance, security, or accessibility testing

• Knowledge of cloud, containerization, and DevOps principles (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure)

• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or similar certification

• Experience with pre-sales, workshops, or internal test communities
