Als Medior Performance Test Engineer binnen b.ignited help je onze klanten om hun applicaties schaalbaar, stabiel en toekomstbestendig te maken. Je wordt ingezet op uitdagende projecten bij uiteenlopende klanten en sectoren, waar je teams ondersteunt bij het uitvoeren en analyseren van performance tests en groeit stap voor stap naar een meer adviserende rol. 

Je combineert hands-on testing met leren-on-the-job in diverse klantcontexten, begeleid door senior collega’s. 

 Jouw verantwoordelijkheden 

• Uitvoeren van performance-, load- en stress tests in klantomgevingen 

• Opstellen en onderhouden van testscenario’s en testplannen 

• Analyseren van testresultaten en signaleren van mogelijke bottlenecks 

• Overleggen met developers, testers en DevOps engineers bij klanten 

• Ondersteunen bij het integreren van performance tests in CI/CD pipelines 

• Documenteren en rapporteren van bevindingen op een gestructureerde manier 

• Actief bijleren over performance testing, tools en best practices 

Jouw profiel 

• 2–4 jaar ervaring in software testing, QA of performance testing 

• Eerste praktische ervaring met performance tools zoals JMeter, Gatling, k6 of gelijkaardig 

• Basiskennis van CI/CD en interesse in DevOps-omgevingen 

• Affiniteit met cloud- en webapplicaties 

• Analytisch ingesteld en leergierig 

• Communicatief sterk en comfortabel in een klantcontext 

• Goede kennis van Nederlands en professioneel Engels 

Nice to have 

• Ervaring met DevOps, SRE of platform engineering 

• Scripting of programmeerkennis (Java, Python, JavaScript, …) 

• ISTQB Performance Testing of gelijkaardige certificaties 

• Ervaring met pre-sales, workshops of technische assessments

Medior Performance Test Engineer(ENG)

About the role

As a Medior Performance Test Engineer at b.ignited, you will help our clients make their applications scalable, stable, and future-proof. You will be assigned to challenging projects with a wide range of clients and sectors, where you will support teams in performing and analyzing performance tests and gradually grow into a more advisory role.

You will combine hands-on testing with learning on the job in various customer contexts, guided by senior colleagues.

Your responsibilities

• Performing performance, load, and stress tests in customer environments

• Drawing up and maintaining test scenarios and test plans

• Analyzing test results and identifying potential bottlenecks

• Consulting with developers, testers, and DevOps engineers at clients

• Supporting the integration of performance tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Documenting and reporting findings in a structured manner

• Actively learning about performance testing, tools, and best practices

Your profile

• 2–4 years of experience in software testing, QA, or performance testing

• Initial practical experience with performance tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or similar

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and interest in DevOps environments

• Affinity with cloud and web applications

• Analytical mindset and eager to learn

• Strong communication skills and comfortable in a customer context

• Good knowledge of Dutch and professional English

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering

• Scripting or programming knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

• ISTQB Performance Testing or similar certifications

• Experience with pre-sales, workshops, or technical assessments
